(Chelsea Update would like to thank Cathy Muha for the information in this story.)

The documentary “Immiscible: The Fight Over Line 5” will be shown on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 6-8 p.m. in the McKune Room at the Chelsea District Library. (This is a non-library-sponsored event.)

This movie discusses how every day, 23 million gallons of oil pump through a six-decade-old pipeline under the largest source of surface freshwater on Earth.

After viewing the 46-minute video, the group will hear from Terri Wilkerson, who has heavily researched Line 5 and created the educational site http://www.retireline5.org/

As chair of the Great Lakes Committee for the Ann Arbor Chapter of the Michigan League of Women Voters, she has organized bi-partisan, information presentations on this issue.
