If you have not registered to vote for the general election in November, you have until Tuesday, Oct. 9 to do so.
Chelsea Clerk Terri Royal will be in the office at 305 South Main St. Suite 100, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on that day to register qualified electors and amend registration records. So, if you have moved recently, you must amend your registration record.
According to the clerk, candidates for the following offices will be on the ballot: president, state, Congress, legislature, state boards, county, judicial, Chelsea School Board, community college, Washtenaw Intermediate School District, district library, and state and local ballot proposals.
