Thursday night is a special night for the youth who have shown their animals at the Chelsea Community Fair. It’s the livestock auction in the Multi-Purpose Arena beginning at 7 p.m. and a new event at 7:30, the Lost Nations Rodeo in the Main Arena.

Earlier in the day, there’s lots to do — beginning with the horse show that takes place throughout the day, the dairy cattle judging in the Multi-Purpose Arena at 10 a.m. and a draft horse pull in the Main Arena at 11 a.m.

At 1 p.m. is the Kiddies Peddle-Pusher Tractor Pull in the Multi-Purpose Arena.

Thursday is senior day so those 65 and older get free admission to the fair. Daily admission to the fair is $8. Children under 10 are free. An adult season pass is $30, students and senior citizen’s (65 and older) season passes are $20. Parking is free but, rides are an additional fee.

Rides begin at 3 p.m. and the K of C Bingo tent opens at 5:30 and runs until 10 p.m.

There will be nightly music in the music tent, all kinds of businesses and non-profit booths in the merchant barn and the Natures Creation of Life barn.
