Carol Ann Benedict of Chelsea, age 74, died peacefully Friday, May 22, 2015 with her family at her side.
She was born Aug. 11, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Norman G. and Ardith L. (Rust) Smits.
Carol was a member of the Chelsea First United Methodist Church, where she was involved in the Christian Home Group, Chancel Choir, and Creative Play. She enjoyed belonging to the United Methodist Bridge Club, “Sit and Stitch”, and Quilting Club.
