Dorothea L. “Dot” Diedrich of Chelsea, age 90, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 at her home.

She was born Jan. 19, 1927 in Wayne, Michigan, the daughter of Henry and Kathryn (Branton) Warblow.

She graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1945. After high school, Dot worked at Kroger where she met her future husband, Jim.  Dot was a member of Faith Lutheran Church since 1964. She raised five children, and returned to the work force at Xerox, where she worked for many years. She enjoyed sewing.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 16, 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mark Porinsky officiating.  Private burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI.

The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Sunday from 3-7 p.m. and at the church Monday from 10-11 a.m.
