Frances M. Manzel of Chelsea, age 95, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016 at Arbor Hospice in Ann Arbor.
She was born May 18, 1921 in Redford, Michigan, the daughter of John F. and Elizabeth (Scheunemann) Bakhaus.
Frances worked 20 years full-time as a bookkeeper and was a Secretary to the Superintendent at Chelsea School District. She was a member of Rogers’ Corners Study Group since 1953, and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Chelsea since 1954.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 9, 11:00 am at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Kathy Tulman officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m., and at church Friday 10-11 a.m.
