Mary Ann Barill of Chelsea, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018 with her family at her side.
She was born April 14, 1927 in Osage, West Virginia, the daughter of John and Antionette (Barberio) Scotchell.
Mary grew up in Star City, WV, the youngest of 7 children. She was an avid Tigers and Red Wings fan. Mary loved St. Mary Church and loved to play bingo. She had many friends at The Pines, and her friends and her grandchildren were the focus of her life.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 25, 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chelsea.
A private burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan.
The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 3-7 p.m., and at the church from 10-11 a.m. on Monday.
