On Sunday, Oct. 1, Ballet Chelsea will host its fourth annual Tutu Run 5k professionally-timed race and 1-mile Fun Run at Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter.

Participants are encouraged to wear tutus; bring your own or purchase one on race day.

This family-friendly fundraising event is open to individuals of all ages and running abilities. Last year, almost 300 runners, aged 3 to 65, participated in the Tutu Run. For more information, or to register for the Tutu Run, go to www.tutu-run.com.

Ballet Chelsea is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization which provides professional-level dance training to young dance students, through performance opportunities, enrichment activities, master classes, summer intensives and pre-professional studies.

Ballet Chelsea’s varied curriculum includes Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Conditioning, Highland Step and more for students ages 2 through adult.  Ballet Chelsea also offers an Adaptive Dance Program that brings creative movement to people of all ages with physical and cognitive specialized needs.
