Rescheduled to Feb. 7: Brad Bush speaks Sunday as part of the Parent Education Series

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Courtney Aldrich for the information in this story. Please note the new date.)

The Parent Education Series continues with its third event of the 2015/16 school year on Feb. 7 from 3-4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with presenter Brad Bush speaking on “Youth and Sports … Striking a Balance.”

The Chelsea School District, Chelsea District Library, and The Chelsea First United Methodist Church with the support of a grant from the Chelsea Education Foundation have partnered together to reach out in support of parents by bringing the Parent Education Series to the community.

Did you know there is real research regarding the benefits of sports for youth?

Would you like to learn ways to help your child have the best sports experience possible?

In addition to his role as Chelsea High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director, Brad has also been head coach of Chelsea High School football for 19 years. Brad also serves as the President of the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association. Additionally, he is the dad of three current/former athletes.

Thanks to the financial support of the Chelsea Education Foundation and the Chelsea First United Methodist Church, the Parent Education Series is free and open to everyone. Childcare is also provided. Please register for childcare by going to chelseaumc.org and picking Adults/Special events.
