Sept. 15: Bullying Prevention program at the Chelsea District Library

CDL logo-1Chelsea District Library will host a Bullying Prevention program on Monday, Sept. 15 from 4-5 p.m. in the McKune Room.

Join local American Taekwondo Association martial arts instructor, Dan Righter, for free instruction on preventing bullying through education.

Registration is required.

According to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, “close to half of all children will experience school bullying at some point while they are at primary or secondary school.” The impact of bullying is enormous.

Through age appropriate instruction, direct training, and open houses such as this one, “ATA schools around the world hope to have a significant impact on reducing the extent of bullying and victimization,” says Righter.

Parents are welcome to join their children for this program.
