About 100 people were in attendance on Sunday, Oct. 26 to listen to State Rep. Gretchen Driskell (D-Saline) address concerns about a proposed ET Rover natural gas pipeline to run through Washtenaw County on its way to Sarnia, Ontario.
No representatives were in attendance from ET Rover.
The six maps pictured below show the proposed route of the pipeline. These maps were provided by ET Rover in August, and represent the most up-to-date proposed route.
Driskell stressed the point that this project is in the pre-filing stage, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) will continue to take comments from the public during this stage.
A pre-printed hard copy of a letter of comment to FERC was handed out at the meeting, and people may print this letter here to send in.

Much frustration was expressed by those in attendance as to the conduct of the ET Rover people in trying to gain access to people’s land for surveying purposes. Driskell asked land-owners to document any perceived threatening acts by people trying to obtain access to their property so she has a record of these events.

She said, “If you are a property owner, and you got a letter, and you don’t want them (ET Rover) to come on your property, you need to call them and tell them. They made it very clear, that if they don’t hear from you, they’re going to show up.”
Driskell said that there will be another meeting in November, which will be attended by representatives from FERC, the the date of this meeting has not yet been announced.
