If you are a Chelsea resident and have a 64-gallon recycling bin and would like to exchange it for a smaller 35-gallon bin, you’re in luck.
Western Washtenaw Recycling Authority (WWRA) has two smaller bins available to people who already have a larger one and would like to exchange them.
WWRA reminds folks that if you’re still waiting for your recycling bin, it’s fine to put your recycling out in any type of container. You do not have to use the official bins.
