Nineteen Beach Middle School students attended the SEMMLAA (Southeast Michigan Middle Level Administrators Association) 8th grade Honors Night on June 3 at Pinckney Community High School.
The students received the award for earning the top grade point averages during their three years of middle school.
Principal Nick Angel and Assistant Principal Matt Ceo attended the event with the students, along with seventh grade English Language Arts teacher, Jessica DeLand, who was selected by the students as their honored educator of the year.
The honored students (in alphabetical order) are David Berg, Matthew Blanton, Megan Boughton, Sarah Capper, Amelia Christie, Megan Hayduk, Mary Jordan, Julia Kause, Barrett Krueger, Avery Landis, Cameron Mater, Peter Mourad, Elijah Ratliff, Elise Rosolowski, Jordan Siefert, Ivy Smith, Lia Spink, Selah Strong, and Sarah Tillman.
