It’s time to mark your calendars for the 2024 Chelsea Community Fair, which takes place Tuesday, Aug. 20 through Saturday, Aug. 24.
And, please volunteer for the Chelsea Fair Kitchen, which needs kitchen and dining room workers for all meal shifts.
The kitchen runs from 5:00 am through 8:30 pm each day of the fair, and there are multiple tasks, including ones that don’t involve standing.
Jobs include cutting up salad items, stirring food and batter, panning up the daily specials, scooping, serving, restocking, straightening the dining room, delivering, picking up trays, taking orders, grilling food, washing dishes, as well as end-of-day clean-up and next day set-up.
