(Chelsea Update would like to thank Matt Ceo for the information in this story and the photo.)
Beach Middle School recently celebrated its second annual Portrait of a Graduate breakfast, and 33 students from across all three grades were recognized.
The Portrait of a Graduate Breakfast (PoG) highlights students that exemplify characteristics and competencies found in the Chelsea School District Portrait of a Graduate. Adults in Beach Middle School (teachers and staff members) nominated students for a specific characteristic/competency they’ve observed in the student throughout the year, or it can be one instance that stood out.
This award is different than the Bulldog Best as it relates specifically to the PoG and what BMS looks for in each student. Students being highlighted do not have to be the highest achieving, athletically gifted, or super-involved students – in fact, students across all demographics should be included.
Below are the award winners. Please congratulate them is you see them around town.
