The 6th Grade Running Club raced this weekend and 43 members lined up at the start line to represent Beach Middle School.
The runners showed great pride in their team by cheering each other on at the finish.
Carson Rabbitt and Sydnee Liedel set school records by taking first and second in the 2-mile cross country race with times of 14:10 and 14:15 respectively.
Austin Lyles and Georgie Reynolds battled for 10th place, both finishing in a time of 16:55.
Ava Nelson and Zach Cooley also had a close finish, both finishing at 17:22 for 14th place.
Quinn Starkey, Brianna Hay, Tori Waltz, Jacqline Taylor, Mallore Stribe, Foster Thorburn, and Skylar Staton finished in the top 10. Great job team.
