The 7th grade blue football team won at home Tuesday last night against Bedford by a score of 7-6.

The tying touchdown was a 40-yard run by Jimmy Sciackitano.

The Bulldogs took the lead on a history-making PAT by Emilio Luna. This was the first PAT made in Beach Middle School history.

The defense was led by Jack Orlandi who made a “fistful” of tackles. Additional strong defensive performances were made by Indiana Hurst and Ethan Povlich.

The team will play at Jackson next week.

8 Blue
The 8th grade blue football team shut out Bedford, 22-0.

The defense was dominant, forcing two fumbles and shutting down the powerful Kicking Mule offense. Mason Poulter and Ethan Racine both recovered fumbles. Carter Nicholson and Samuel Woodard played great on defense.

On offense, the Bulldogs ran the ball effectively all game long, thanks to great blocking and numerous pancakes by the offensive line. Regan Plank, Colin Tailford, and Thomas Shemwell all had success running the ball repeatedly, with Plank scoring two TDs and Tailford scoring one.

The whole team played outstanding and should be proud of their effort.

Next Tuesday, the Bulldogs will travel west to take on the Jackson Vikings.

8 Gold
8th Grade Gold football fell to Ypsi 16-6.

The offense was led by Max Herter throwing the ball, with big catches from Donovan Fisk and Griffen Tokarski.

Mason Meads had a strong performance blocking and scoring the lone touchdown. Defensively Colin Skoczylas and Fisk had big sacks.

Braden McKenzie and Nathan Doyle also played well for the Dawgs.

7 Gold
The 7th grade gold football team traveled to Lincoln and lost 54-6.

The Bulldogs’ lone score came from a short pass from Nate Christian to Luke Webster.

Richard Montoye and Will McCalla both had great games offensively and defensively. Cooper Hicks made a couple nice blocks on the edge at wide receiver.

The dogs are looking to improve this week in practice.
