8 Blue Logs Win Against Monroe in Volleyball

8 Blue took a big WIN against Monroe last night in the third set. Set scores were 25-11, 15-25, and 25-10.

All players kept up the hype on and off the court.

Logan Schoeneman played her heart out as libero with many saves and skilled passes. Middle hitters Chloe Klink and Chloe Morgan had some hits at the net, and Rylee Williams didn’t back down with her kills from the outside. Elise Begin snagged some points with her serves in the second set. Avery Lloyd brought down the third set with an impressive ten serves for the win. Go Dawgs.

Next game is Monday against Dexter.

The 7Blue team had a loss tonight vs Monroe: set one 25-15, set two 25-12, and set three 25-21.

The Dawgs struggled at the serving line but Ellie Hurst and Norah Hurst were both able to score a couple points each in the first set

Anniston Bomay had good net play and Anna Norton dug out some balls in set two for Chelsea. Jade Siefert, Paisley Myers and Ellie Hurst served with the most success in set three for the closest game of the match.

The Dawgs will be back home Monday.

Wednesday night 7 Gold volleyball dropped its match against a hard serving Adrian team. (10-25, 23-25, 15-25)

In the first set, the girls scrambled, but found themselves down early. Emily Schultz, Phoenix Massey, Avery Edwards had some good digs and Emily and Kinsley Doletsky both had a kill to help, but it was not enough.

 The second set was full of action and it came down to a close finish due to the great serving from Kylie Schroeder and Avery. Mariel Castilla had 2 hits and Lily Miller had a great dig. The team finished off the night with good passes from Lily, Kylie, and Avery. The Bulldogs never gave up and played hard.

The team plays Monday in Dexter.
