Reddeman Golf and Banquets was a busy place at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning as about 40 members of the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce converged on the facility for a business breakfast, sharing a fabulous meal followed by a chance to network with one another.

Sponsored by Lake Trust Credit Union, the business owners and representatives shared not only news about their individual businesses but also some exciting upcoming events.

Among the highlights were:

May 21: A business after hours at Fantasy Studio on Old US-12

June 2: The 5th annual Chelsea/Dexter Chambers of Commerce golf outing, which is still accepting, sponsors, teams and prizes.

June 18: a golf outing to benefit Ele’s Place, contact Rick Eder at State Farm Insurance for more details.

Oct. 10: a new festival event at the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds — called Smoke and Ale, featuring BBQ and beer. There will be lots more details coming as the fundraising event gets closer.
