(Chelsea Update would like to thank Terri Kleinschmidt for the information in this story.)
There will be a genealogy workshop on Saturday, April 22 from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Chelsea District Library in the McKune Room.
The program is sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sarah Caswell Angell Chapter.
Do you think you might have an ancestor who was in the Revolutionary War? Genealogists from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be available to help you answer that question.
To be prepared for your visit, please bring as much information as possible:
- Parents (and their siblings) and date of birth, and birth location.
- Maiden name for your female ancestors, if possible.
- Grandparents (and siblings).
- Great Grandparents, if known.
It is okay if you don’t have all the facts. Please organize as much information as you know.
