April 23: two road projects beginning in Lima Township

On Monday April 23, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin resurfacing work on Old US-12 between Freer Road and Fletcher Road in Lima Township.

Old US-12 will remain open to two-way traffic utilizing a flagging operation as needed. The project, which includes milling and resurfacing, is expected to take up to two weeks to complete, weather permitting.

In addition, also on Monday, April 23, at approximately 6 a.m., the Road Commission will begin resurfacing work on Fletcher Road between the eastbound I-94 off-ramp and Old US-12 (Jackson Road) in Lima Township.

Fletcher Road will remain open to two-way traffic utilizing a flagging operation as needed. The project is expected to take up to two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
