Please stop by the Saturday Chelsea Farmer’s Market on Aug. 25 before you head to the fair parade. And, here’s what to expect at the market that’s located in the library lot on Park Street from 8 a.m.-noon.
La Baguette returns with their array of brioche, madelines and what else … baguettes, of course.
Mama Mo will have all their Hummus, Pesto and Seitan products available this Saturday then will be off on vacation over Labor Day. They will return for the Sept. 8 market refreshed and ready to go. Give some thought as to what you might need to stock up on for the 2 weeks between markets.
Bristle’s Handmade & Homegrown will have tomatoes, red & orange sweet peppers and green beans this week. And as always handmade dishclothes and kitchen towels sets that are great for gifts.
Poultry for families both big and small. Along with whole birds, Back Forty Acres also now stocks parts separately packaged: Duck: leg+thigh or breasts. Turkey: Individual packages of breasts, thighs, legs or wings. Chicken cut in 8 pieces, packaged together. They raise all their poultry on their pastures, which makes for a very fresh, clean tasting bird.
Carol will have HOT Pepper Jam this week, as they have had many requests for it. She’ll also have fresh made Peach and Blackberry Jam at Myer’s Berry Farm booth.
Tantre Farm has a large list of produce they bring each week. Thought we might share that entire list with you this time, so you have a sense of knowing all they grown on their organic farm.
