Aug. 20: Transition Town Chelsea talk from Washtenaw County Food Policy Council

On Monday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m., Transition Town Chelsea will hold a pot luck at 6:30 p.m. at the Chelsea Senior Center to be followed by a presentation by Sharon Sheldon.

The presentation is free and everyone is invited.

Sheldon is one of the original members of the Washtenaw County Food Policy Council, will explain to the group what the council does and how we may all work toward a local food system that is healthy, affordable, and sustainable.

Potluck meal begins at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation starts at about 7:15 p.m.

If you are going to the potluck meal, please bring a dish to pass and your own place settings.
