Aug. 27-30: Drive in Chelsea Community Fair food

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 27 at 11:30 a.m. through 6 p.m., everyone is invited to go to the Chelsea Community Fairgrounds and enjoy drive in fair food.

You can drive to the fairgrounds, park your vehicle, get your food and drive out with it following socially distant, 6-foot marks on the ground in front of the food trucks.

Although fair won’t happen this year, you can still enjoy your favorite fair food – elephant ears, corn dogs, caramel apples, lemonade, cotton candy – you’ll find them all on site.

The fair food drive in will begin Thursday, Aug. 27 at 11:30 a.m. and continue on Friday, Aug. 28 and Saturday, Aug. 29 from 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday, Aug. 30 from 11:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.

According to the fair’s Facebook page, “As most of you already know, the fair supports many organizations within our community. Please join us at this event as we will be giving a percentage of our sales back to these organizations, to help them in their fundraising efforts.”
