School has begun and August is ending, but the Chelsea outdoor farmers markets continue through the end of October.
The Wednesday market runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and takes place in the parking lot of Chelsea State Bank located at 1010 S. Main St., at the corner of M52 and Old US-12.
Load up on corn this week along with tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, onions, eggplant, peppers, and all sorts of other seasonal vegetables.
Apples have returned to the market along with plums, pears, melons, and other fruits.
Fresh baked goods will be for sale and locally made seasonings. You’ll also find authentic Polish foods provided by Srodek’s and a choice of hot foods at the Smokey Michigan food truck.
Bob Bransky will provide the musical entertainment.
