The Chelsea District Library will show folks how to turn the written word into visual art during a fun craft project planned for Thursday, Aug. 8 from 3-4 p.m.
Participants will learn to make handmade flowers and other paper crafts using the pages of recycled books.
Simple to make, they can be used as many forms of decorations, including centerpieces and gift bows.
Registration is required. Crafters are asked to please bring scissors to the McKune Room for the project.
