Cavanaugh Lake Road, between Pierce and Garvey roads, is expected to be closed for a road work on Monday, Sept. 10, and Tuesday, Sept.11, so seek alternate routes.
There will be a culvert replacement, milling and patching taking place on the Sylvan Township road, according to a press release from the Washtenaw County Road Commission.
The Road Commission will impose a daytime road closure on Cavanaugh Lake Road between Pierce Road and Garvey Road for the replacement of a crossroad culvert.
Then on Tuesday morning, the road will be milled and patched.
The posted detour will take motorists along Pierce and Garvey roads.
Access for adjacent properties on Cavanaugh Lake Road will be maintained during the closure. However, no through traffic allowed.
