Be a Queen for a Day at Ladies Day at Chelsea Community Fair on Aug. 26

Ladies Day at the Chelsea Community Fair will take place on Friday, Aug. 26.

This year’s theme is Queen for a Day, so dress like a queen and those 18 years or older will be eligible for a special drawing.

Visitors to the Multipurpose Building on Aug. 26 can expect many of the same traditions that make this event a special day at the fair. There will be music and entertainment, goody bags and giveaways.

You must be 18 years of age or older to register to win one of the door prizes donated by local merchants and businesses.

The doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program begins at 9 a.m. and runs until about 10:30 a.m.

This year’s Homemaker of the Year and Junior Homemaker of the Year will be crowned during the event as well.

And if you’ve never been, the ladies begin lining up well before the doors open.

The event will also be a chance to meet the 2022 fair queen candidates and the 2021 reigning Queen Katie Wickman.

Coffee and pastries to get the morning started along with goodie bags filled with surprises for the first 150 adult ladies who arrive at the annual event.
