The Beach Middle School 7th grade volleyball team traveled to its first Quad where they swept all 3 matches bringing home wins against Lincoln, Saline, and Pinckney.

The Bulldogs brought a large team of all 27 players/3 squads to compete and reached many of their goals for the season during the Friday night match-ups: Lincoln won one set 13-25 but Chelsea won two sets 25-22 and 15-12. Chelsea won both sets vs Saline 25-20 and 25-18 and also won both sets vs Pinckney 25-20 and the exciting finale 26-24.

The Lincoln match highlights include top servers Kaydee Absher with 9 serves and Aubrey Trent with 7 serves. Brynnley Lockman had a good serve as well. Also the team had one combination pass-set-hit with Ella Root, Allie Singer, and Bella Radomski.

The Saline match highlights include multiple combos with the following involved players; Ella Root, Sasha Henriksen, Kaydee Absher, Mia Kuboushek, Kate McKenzie, Bella Radomski, Alyssa Clark, Avery Adams, and Aubrey Trent. Top servers were Kaydee Absher with 10 serves, Aubrey Trent with 7 serves, and Bella Radomski with 6 serves. Karlie VanRemortel also made a serve over.

The final Pinckney highlights included multiple combination attacks again from the Bulldog squad and included Brooklyn Angel and Ava Reyes. Top servers were Kaydee Absher and Mia Kuboushek each with 6 serves, Hailey Henschel with 5 serves and the birthday girl Kaelyn Mannor with a final Ace serve over to win the match.

Coach Laura Ouellette credits the successful night to the growth and development of all the players this season. The team has learned the importance of putting together pass-set-hit combinations with a record-breaking dozen for the night.
