Wednesday night, the Beach Middle School 8th Grade football team fell to Monroe 28-8.
The Bulldogs played tough but were over-matched against the physical Monroe Trojans.
The Bulldogs lone score was on a pass from Buck Allen to EJ Milan, with Hunter Burk running in the 2-point conversion.
Milan, John Chapman, and Beckett Boos all had good catches on offense, with Max Collins adding some good runs and blocks.
Michael Niles had a strong game on defense making some big hits. Cody Kennard and Nate Sobiechowski also played well on defense, and Kaiden Trevino recovered a fumble.
The Bulldogs have a big game at Dexter next Tuesday, and look to get better each day at practice.
