Beach Middle School 8th Grade Football Loses to Saline, 28-8

The Beach Middle School 8th grade football team lost to Saline Wednesday night, 28-8 after getting off to a slow start that allowed Saline to gain an early lead.

The Dawgs came to life in the second half and scored on a 4-yard touchdown run by Caden Basar. Landon Barkey connected with Kaden Davidson on the 2-point conversion to give the Bulldogs an 8 on the scoreboard.

Sam Forehand and Nick Schultz also had several receptions for positive yards to help the offense.

Defensively, Gibby Ichesco had an interception and Cooper Adams shared a fumble recovery with Thomas Szpara.

The Bulldogs will take on the Vikings from Jackson next Tuesday.
