Beach Middle School 8th grade gold volleyball moves to 6-4

8 Gold
The 8th grade gold volleyball team increased its record to 6-4 with a win against Pinckney Red Wednesday night, 25-20, 25-15, 21-25.

Strong serving was a key from Jenna Ouellette, Sasha French, Tori Parisho, Katie Jedele, Chloe Gray, and Emma Ward.

Rory Mickle, Madison Morgan, and Sasha worked well at the net.

Good play on the floor also came from Carley Grabarczyk, Piper Diesing, Libby Wacker, Claire Zarinnia, and Allie Browning-Perry.

7 Blue
The 7th grade blue volleyball team lost all 3 sets at home Wednesday night to a tough Pinckney squad.

Kylie Beckel once again led with great serving and outstanding play on the floor. She had 10 service points followed by Elleri Maute with 3, Jazmine Ropp and Izzy Hepburn each had 2, and Emily White, Alaina James, and Addi Kennedy had 1 each.

Megan Sherry added some great plays at the net.

7 Gold
The 7th grade gold volleyball team lost to the Pirates after winning the first set 25-18.

The Dawgs fought hard in second set but lost 25-19 and also lost the third set 25-17.

Highlights of the match included the serving of Maggie McKale and Shea Hephner, each serving 5 points in a row.

Olivia Hancock had a nice set over, Jane Eberhardt had a good save and Lily Hansen had a good hit.

8 Blue
The Chelsea 8th grade blue volleyball team hosted a home match splitting with Pinckney and falling short and losing the last game 25-10, 10-25, 20-25.

A shout out to Meghan Bareis serving 20 straight points.
