The 7th grade boys’ blue basketball team lost to Dexter last night. Scoring points were Cross Lucas, Brandon Doyle and Kollin Pustay.
The 7th grade gold basketball team played a very strong game at Lincoln yesterday losing 18-12. Tobin Moore had 6 points, Sam Yax and Blake Engler each had 4 points. Evan Kucera and Zach Yeakey each played well on both ends of the floor.
The 8th grade gold boys’ basketball team dominated the first quarter 9-0 at Lincoln last night and used a 6-0 run in the last 1:30 to pull within one point of the Railsplitters, but lost by one point, 22-21. Kyle Bell tallied 2 points and several rebounds for the Dawgs, while Drew Anstead scored 4 points and Chris Roush added 6 points. Cam Cooper led the way for the Dawgs with 14 points. The 8th grade gold team returns to action today at home vs. Adrian.
The 8th grade blue boys’ basketball team lost to Dexter last night 25-19. Bryce Jubenville scored 5 points, Cal Barrett had 3 points, and Joey Wise scored 2 points and played well defensively.
