The 7th grade boys’ gold basketball team lost to Dexter, 16-8 on Nov. 29. Spencer Gobba led the Bulldogs in scoring with 6 points. Tobin Moore and Aidan Chisholm had 4 points. Adam Edwards and Riley Lukomski each scored 2 for Chelsea.
The 7th grade boys’ blue basketball team lost. Playing well for the Bulldogs were James Mida, Kollin Pustay, Alex Sanborn, Lucas DeRosia and Cross Lucas.
The 8th grade boys’ gold basketball team dominated the 2nd quarter thanks to 5 points from Michael Barnes, but ultimately fell short in a closely-contested game, 14-11, at Dexter. Matthew Klink added 6 points for the Dawgs and Andrew Klink had six rebounds in one quarter alone. The Bulldawgs travel to Lincoln on Monday night.
The 8th grade boys’ blue basketball team beat Tecumseh, 27-17. Leading the scoring for the Bulldogs was Ryan Mitchell with 10 points. Brady Friss hit 3 three-point shots in the 2nd half and Cal Barrett scored 6 points. Alex Vasquez and Matt McDaniels scored 3 points each. Hayden Wright and Nyck Udell also scored for the Bulldogs.
