Beach Middle School field hockey ends season 11-7-1

The Play For the Cure field hockey game was a huge success Thursday night.

The field hockey community raised more than $5,000 for cancer research. Thanks to all of you at Beach for donning pink and coming out to the game.

The Beach team won the game over Honey Creek 4-0.

Scorers were:

Teresa Smith with two goals, one assisted by Lindsey Partyka.

Ava Hagen passed to Abbie Nye who then assisted Keygan Monahan.

Braiden Scheffler assisted Hayley Hopkins.

Sadie Potter and Naomi Ratliff had a shutout on goal.

The BMS Field Hockey team season ended with #PlayForTheCure.

Overall, the team was 11-7-1 with a season goal differential of 35-15. This year’s team consisted of 7th and 8th graders.
