The Beach Middle School 7th Grade Girls’ Blue Basketball team beat Ypsilanti 11-6 last night. The entire team is getting better each day. They are learning the game and play well together. Anna Regis, Hannah Kahler, Caroline Hirth, Nina White, Grace Bush and Katelyn McKinley all played well.
The 7th Grade Girls’ Gold Basketball team defeated Saline by a score of 10-7. Paige Stacy led the team in scoring. Sidney Hines made two clutch free throws in the final quarter and Kendall Tucker played great defense to help lead the squad to victory. The next game is Thursday at Dexter.
The 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball team lost by 4 points yesterday to a tough Ypsilanti team. Jesse Jacobusse, Natasha McElrath, and Selena Shanley all played well.
