Beach Middle School Science Olympians place well at Hudson Invitational

The about 20-member Beach Middle School Science Olympiad team recently participated at the Hudson Invitational and placed quite well.

The team finished 8th out of 27 teams at the event. They earned 6th place in Rocks & Minerals; 5th in Forestry; 4th in Food Science and Sounds of Music; 3rd in Crime Busters, Heredity, and Road Scholar; and 2nd place inĀ Reach for the Stars.

Among the Science Olympians are: Bennett Proegler, Quinn Dammeyer, Madilynn O’Hara, Clara Dobos, Sophie Sjogren, Rheana Grudzinski, Kaia Newman, Emma Catalina, Olivia Maldonado, Joshua Kowalski, Kylie Saxton, Leah Pifer, Anna Vannaste, Liam Heaney, Hanna Brodeur, Dominic Gasbarre, Meagan O’Hara, Ross Smyth, and Alyssa Gray.

The team is supported by the Chelsea Education Foundation, and will head to its Regional competition on March 16.
