8th grade gold
Wednesday night, the 8th grade gold volleyball team won its match against Jackson Parkside, 25-19, 25-20, 14-25.
Sasha Henriksen and Lyla Dabbs served a strong first set. Ella Root served well all night, had a great block and several hits and digs.
Abby Lokers served well in the second set and had a nice serve receive in the third. Taya Hall served 3 in a row. Marissa Kay had 2 scoring hits and Karlie Van Remortal played a great game at the net and had an amazing back row save.
8th grade blue
Chelsea 8th blue volleyball traveled to Bedford split and lost but not without a fight, 24-26, 15-25, 25-20.
The team played hard and there is nothing to be ashamed of.
7 grade gold
The 7th grade gold volleyball team earned its first win against Jackson Parkside Wednesday night, 25-21, 25-19, 20-24.
Avery Scheffler was our leading scorer with 17 points. She also had some nice passes and a hit. Addy Sieg was stellar on defense with a great save, a dig and 2 hits.
Amelia Baker had 2 nice passes. Kiley Ellis did a great job hustling in the back row with some good passes over the net. Kendall Kuck played strong defense with 4 great passes over the net.
