Beach Middle School volleyball results from Sept. 30

Below are the results from Monday’s matches.

7th Grade Blue

The 7th Grade Blue Volleyball team lost to Tecumseh Monday night, 14-25, 16-25 and 13-25. Julia Schachinger led with 3 points served, Emily Savery, Stephanie Dark and Haley Townsend each had 2 and Madeleine Kennedy and Shae Wright each had 1. Great play was turned in by Angelia Daman and Lauren Eicher.

7th Grade Gold

The 7th Grade Gold Volleyball team won their first SEC match against Dexter. They won their first game, 25-23. In the second game, Skylar Staton had an 11-point run with 6 aces to tie up the match then took it into overtime, winning 26-24.

The Bulldogs then won the third game 25-18. Caitlin Dusenbury had a 5-point run with 3 aces and Gretchen Kuras added 6 aces. Great job girls.

8th Grade Gold

The 8th Grade Gold Volleyball team won all three sets against Dexter, and serving was the key to the win.

Audrey Phillips served 12 in a row with 4 aces, Zoe Steigerwald had 11with 5 aces, and Alise Hale had 9 serves with 4 aces.

Strong serving also came from Jordan Seitz, Emily Griggs, and Kara Nold.  Congratulations everyone.

8th Grade Blue

The 8th Grade Blue Volleyball team played three exciting games against Tecumseh. They dropped the first game, but had an exciting run in the second game to tie up the game 20-20.

Paige Romelhardt served 12 points in a row. The Bulldogs ended up losing 27-29, but fought hard and played well.

The blue team then won the third game 25-5. Paige Stacy and Sydney Hines each had 10 serving points in the third game.
