The Chelsea Bulldog 7th grade volleyball team battled the Tecumseh Indians in its first matchup of the season.
The Dawgs lost the first 2 sets 25-22 and 25-12 before winning the final set with a close score of 26-24.
Top servers for the match were Brooklyn Angel with 9 points and Alyssa Clark and Sasha Henrikson both with 7 points.
Avery Adams had a nice pass during a tough serve receive and Mia Kuboushek, Ava Reyes, and Ella Root put together the first successful pass-set-hit combo for the team.
Good assertive play was also seen at the net by Kaydee Absher.
