The 7th grade gold volleyball team dominated pool play at the SEC Jamboree in Dexter Saturday, winning 5/6 sets vs Pinckney, Tecumseh, and Dexter.

The team earned a second-place seed heading into bracket play before they were defeated by a tough Dreadnaught team.

Some good passes were seen by Rory Mickle and Libby Wacker along with a strong squad of overhead servers Charlotte Diesing, Jenna Ouellette, Meghan Bareis, Sasha French, Cecilia Henriksen, and Gabriella Basar.

Consistent passing continued from Kyah Mitchell, Emma Ward, and Carley Grabarcyzk.

Together, the team had many multiple hits that made for an exciting day of volleyball.

The 7th grade blue volleyball team had a rough outing at the SEC 7th grade invitational held at Dexter last weekend.

The team began with a hard-fought win against Tecumseh 27-25 then lost the 2nd. Then they dropped both sets to Dexter gold and then lost to Adrian.

The Bulldogs started bracket play in 8th place, facing first place Adrian where they played tough, losing 18-25 and 19-25.

Maggie Baldwin was a highlight with several serve points in a row, and Caroline Knight and Allie Schumann had some great plays at the net.
