Benefit brunch, concert for CHS music program Sunday at Silver Maples

The Chelsea House Orchestra will perform at Silver Maples of Chelsea during the Fall Festival Brunch and Concert on Sunday, Sept. 16.

The event takes place from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and it is a fundraiser for the Chelsea High School Music Program. Brunch will be served in the Bistro 100 from 11:30-1:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 2 p.m.

“Join the Chelsea House Orchestra for a toe-tapping, energy filled concert celebrating Celtic music with a kick,” according to information about the event.

Chef Tom Zigman will prepare a fresh and delicious brunch featuring his keynote “made-to-order” omelet station, an assorted hot and cold breakfast buffet, fresh baked house-specialty baked goods, and beverages, according to information about the event.

Brunch tickets are available at Silver Maples of Chelsea. The cost is $10 per person or $8 in advance. Children are $8 per person or $6 in advance, and kids 5 and under are free.

If you only plan to attend the concert, the suggested donation is $5 per person, and the proceeds will benefit the CHS Music Department’s trip to Philadelphia in 2013.

The event is sponsored by the Will Johnson Family, Silver Maples of Chelsea, and the Chelsea House Orchestra.
