The story of the 2023 Boys Track and Field Team of Chelsea is yet to be written, but has potential to be a memorable season, says Head Coach David Slusser.
“We have a core group of athletes, some of whom we did not run this week due to illness or injury precaution, that looks to make us competitive in the SEC White division and our region. However, our story will be decided by how we develop our younger athletes and those who are rookies to the sport. Our coaching staff has its work cut out for them this year, but the team has the makings of something special by the end of the season,” he said.
