ArchaeologyYearning(Chelsea Update would like to thank Emily Meloche for the information in this story.)

On Tuesday, Nov.  12 at 7 p.m., the Chelsea District Library will host author Bruce Mills, who recently published a memoir titled “An Archaeology of Yearning” which focuses on autism. He will read from his book.

The impact of autism is felt most intimately in families. Drawing from his own experiences as a father of a son on the autism spectrum, Kalamazoo College professor Bruce Mills will read from and discuss the writing of his memoir, An Archaeology of Yearning.

In doing so, he will explore the power of shared stories and desires in sustaining ties across different ways of knowing.

Those interested in attending should reserve a spot at the event. Please call  475-8732 ext. 219, go to chelsea.lib.mi.us and click on the calendar link, or click http://bit.ly/17pSD8l.
