Silver Maples of Chelsea recently announced a call for artists for the 9th annual Harvest Art Market in Chelsea to be held on Saturday, Oct. 8.
The best, little art show around features a “market mix” of great art and craftsmanship from established and emerging artists. Media include: artisanal food products, funky and fashion jewelry, vintage fare, folk art, watercolor, fiber art, glass, paper, mixed media, wood, pottery, photography (and possibly more!) The Market, which takes place indoors, is limited to 25 juried artists.
“The Harvest Art Market has grown and evolved over the past nine years,” said Shawn Personke, director of wellness and public relations for Silver Maples.
“But we’ve stayed true to our original thought that we wanted the show to offer really interesting items, handmade, and fair prices. So that’s the kind of artist we welcome and who finds the most success,” she said.
