Larry and Stephanie Doll are leaving Back Forty Acres after six years with the business.
The couple cites “personal reasons” for their decision to leave the business, and the split is effective at the end of 2012.
Back Forty Acres will be operated by Kevin Doll, “who looks forward to providing your family and business with great products,” according to the letter to the farm’s customers.

“We encourage you to continue to do business with Back Forty Acres, and trust your needs will be met,” the letter states.
“Whether it was at the Farmer’s Market, the Farm Store, or servicing your business, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with you,” the letter states, adding, “Thank you. It’s been a great privilege.”
