Chelsea Boys Track and Field Scores Lifetime Bests

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Eric Swager for the information in this story.)

Chelsea Boys Track and Field took advantage of the nice weather to split the squad and give the whole crew a chance to focus on 1-2 events.

As a result, the team produced a good chunk of lifetime bests said coach Eric Swager.

On Thursday in Saline, Mo Cugliari led the charge placing in 3 events, with 2 lifetime bests, Misha McElrath, David Berg, and Patric Joyce also placed with personal records.

Friday saw us take 5th of 12 teams, with 4 guys earning medals.

Parker Olk was our top finisher, with his runner up pole vault.

Brandon Snyder continued his progression, launching an impressive 20’8″ long jump.

Ryan Scott earned points in 2 events, and the entire distance crew was impressive, recording massive personal records and displaying great competitive metal.

The team finishes up its SEC dual meet campaign by hosting Tecumseh and Ypsi on Tuesday. Come on down and support us beginning at 4:30 p.m.
