The Chelsea Center for the Arts (CCA) will host its 9th Annual Spring Breakfast, “Mapping Our Future,” on Thursday, May 16, from 8-9 a.m. at Silver Maples of Chelsea.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

In the past, about 150 people have attended this celebration of the arts and shared highlights of CCA’s many music and visual art activities and programs.

A complimentary continental breakfast will be served.

The one-hour breakfast features speakers Patrick J. Conlin, Jr., attorney with Keusch & Flintoft, P.C., Anne Williams, president, CCA board of directors, and Chief Executive Officer for ExcellenceQuest, Inc., Lisa Hinz-Johnson, co-founder and director of music programming at the CCA, and Lisa Baylis Gonzalez, CCA’s executive director.

Rick Taylor, vice president, CCA board of directors, will serve as master of ceremonies.

There will also be special performances by Elizabeth Hood, soprano and CCA voice alumnus, and CCA string faculty members Aileen Pagan-Rohwer (cello) and Robert Rohwer (bass).

“Our theme – Mapping Our Future – reflects the strategic planning process that has been underway at the CCA since the beginning of the year, and a desire to gather input from the community and closely consider internal and external factors to help guide the CCA now and into the future,” Williams said in a press release.

“We’re excited about working with the community to make quality arts programming more accessible to everyone seeking the many benefits of engagement with the arts – from skill building, to relaxation, and more serious creative exploration,” she said.

Those interested in attending the breakfast should call the CCA office at 433-2787, as seats are limited.
