The Chelsea City Council approved its 2014 meeting dates for the first and third Mondays of the month, with the exception of December.
Traditionally, the City Council holds just one meeting in December, and it will take place on Dec. 15, 2014.
This means that City Council will meet on three city holidays – MLK Day on Jan. 20, President’s Day on Feb. 17 and Labor Day, Sept. 1.
Council Member Cheri Albertson was the lone “no” vote.
The council meetings begin at 7 p.m. and take place in the new police building in the council chamber.
