Chelsea Community Fair was one of 21 county fairs to be awarded grant funds for building and other capital improvements to its fairground facilities.
Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) Director Jamie Clover Adams recently announced the awards through the competitive grants for Michigan’s county fairs and Chelsea fair received $13,566 to reroof two large pole barns.
